Certified Information Technology Professional (CITP) Credential Overview
Beginning in January 2014, CPA Canada, in association with the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA), will begin offering the Certified Information Technology Professional (CITP) Credential to its members. CPA Canada members who do not hold the CA•IT will have the opportunity to apply for the credential through an experience route until December 31, 2016.
The CITP Credential identifies Professional Accountants with the unique ability to bridge between business and technology. Also, CITPs must have additional training and experience in the areas of Emerging Trends, IT Assurance and Risk, Business Solutions, Data Analytics and Security and Privacy.
